What we will do.
• Recycle old and redundant IT equipment, (reducing landfill and saving resources).
• Refurbish redundant IT items for low cost resale and make donations to community groups.
• Provide opportunities for volunteers, young and mature.
• Provide school work experience placements. We work with Education Business Partnerships.
• Provide low cost general IT repair, maintenance, sales and services.
By dealing with us you are supporting “our local people” into employment? As a Social Enterprise, all our profits are reinvested into our projects to provide work placements and training for the local unemployed and students leaving local schools. We don’t just talk Localism; we live it to support our local people.
How we will assist our local communities.
The main social objectives of our projects are:-
• Provide skills training for the local unemployed, in order to improve their chances of obtaining new skills/employment.
• Donate refurbished IT systems to local community and charitable groups free of charge.
• Provide work placement opportunities for the local unemployed and schools.
• Provide low cost refurbished IT systems for low income households, in order to increase the number of people that have access to the internet.
• Provide low cost repair and maintenance services to the local population.
• Provide a recycling service to local residents and business clients, across the region, thereby reducing the number of systems that go to landfill and in addition, reduce the carbon footprint of companies who are transporting systems to locations in the south for destruction.
• Reinvest surpluses made back into the business, in order to help support future operations of our projects.
